Project Summary
The project focuses on implementing the green transition at TRGOMETAL d.o.o. through investment in the construction of an integrated photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 153.56 kW and the acquisition of a new CNC gantry milling machine to replace the existing resource- and energy-inefficient machine.

The project does not aim to increase production capacity but rather to reduce energy and material consumption and CO₂ emissions, thereby contributing to the company’s competitiveness and environmental sustainability. Project management, supervision, and auditing activities will ensure the successful, timely, and controlled implementation of the project.

Project Objectives:
To implement the green transition by achieving resource and energy efficiency, resulting in reduced consumption of input resources (energy and materials) and lower CO₂ emissions. This will strengthen the company’s competitiveness, ensure long-term business sustainability, and contribute to the local community and the EU’s environmental objectives.

Expected Project Results:

1. USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES – Installation of a photovoltaic power plant (153.56 kW), reducing electricity consumption from the grid by 97.86%.

2. REDUCTION OF CO₂ EMISSIONS – By 96.93% (reduction from 20.78 to 0.00 tonnes/year).

3. MATERIAL SAVINGS PER UNIT OF PRODUCT – Reduction of waste generated during CNC milling operations by 5.38%.

4. PRIMARY ENERGY SAVINGS – 195.8 MWh/year.

5. NEW RENEWABLE ENERGY CAPACITY – 0.15 MW of installed capacity.

6. INCREASE IN EMPLOYMENT – Recruitment of 6 new employees (from 121 to 127).
